Carols’ List trainings “a great resource”

We trained fully one-third of the Democratic women who filed for office this spring. Candidates told us they were "inspired" and that the trainings were a "great resource."

When the pandemic changed everything in mid-March, we worked with EMILY's List to replace our scheduled all-day, in-person candidate training with a new training program. 

Our new virtual series covered digital platforms and phones. We did the trainings over Zoom and offered recordings of the sessions -- a pandemic-prompted shift that we're likely to keep in some form next cycle. Candidates have told us that virtual trainings saved them travel costs and time that they could spend campaigning.
